TISA Glam Trash! (and the 2nd grade trash bash)

TISA hosted it's very own Glam Trash thanks to our fearless arts coordinator, Megan Avina (4th grade teacher).  I organized the trash fashion show in Taos for 13 or so years, but I've been hesitant to combine that sort of creative chaos with my teacher persona.  It turned out to be pretty awesome.  Here are some 2nd graders and a kinder brother advertising the show on the playground.

The best part was the making.  We took half the day, a bunch of junk, some tape and hot glue, and got down to business!

The show was a blast too!  We pulled it off even though there was a fire drill during directly before the show.  Yikes! Thank you to all of the parents who were able to come and who sent in fun trash materials to use! If you missed the show, there's a video on the TISA Facebook page, I believe...
