First Week of 2nd: Friends, Fun, and Lots of Learning!

 

What a sweet class!!  Our first week was a blast.  The kiddos are learning all about their new classroom and enjoying old and new friends.  

2nd Grade Loves Animals!

This spring has been full of critters!   We have 2 new additions to our class : caterpillars and tadpoles! The kids are studying life cycles and writing books about all kinds of animals.  It's a zoo!

2nd Grade Bowling Bash!

What's the best way to celebrate hard work and spring break?  ...a bowling party!  Woot!  The kids (and grown ups!) had a blast.   Thank you to Moses's mom, Melanie Archuleta, for fundingbthe trip!  And thank you to all of the parenys who drove and came to hang out.

  

Read-a-thon!

 The 2nd graders read like crazy all for half of the day!    Friends and family members visited our class to join the fun.  Thank you to everyone who was able to come and read with or to the students... it really made a difference.  What a lovely day!  Look for read-a-thon information in your child's backpack when we return from spring break.  :)  Field trip plans are in the works!
